A Letter from Jeffrey McKellop

Jeffrey McKellop is a Virginian who served his country honorably as a U.S. Army Green Beret. McKellop served in the U.S. armed forces for over 22 years, and his service included four tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Enlisting as an infantryman in 1987, McKellop rose through the ranks of the U.S. Army to gain a foothold in its Special Forces unit. McKellop has several children he has not seen while incarcerated. McKellop was also a CIA and U.S. State Department contractor, as the 55-year-old was aware of the many needs of the U.S. military and government while stationed in other countries. McKellop received three Bronze Star medals in the service of his country, which include protecting various government officials from various administrations. The following is an excerpt of one of his letters to the Patriot Freedom Project:

“My name is Jeff McKellop. I would like to thank Cynthia Hughes and the Patriot Freedom Project for providing full legal representation. In my current situation there was no way I could have obtained the advice and legal freedom. Thank you Cindy.

– Jeff”
