A Letter from Barry Ramey

Barry Ramey is an aircraft mechanic arrested in April of 2022 for January 6. He has been incarcerated since his arrest and denied bond.

“My name is Barry Ramey, and I’m currently incarcerated at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia, for the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. I am taking the time to write this letter in regard to Cynthia Hughes and the Patriot Freedom Project. I would swear to this testimony under oath, so help me God.

I can go on and on about the financial, moral, and legal support that Mrs. Hughes has rendered. However, with regard to keeping things short, I will get right to it. To put it simply, Mrs. Hughes has been a pillar of support for not only me, but my family as well, in our troubling and dark times. She has been instrumental with financial support to my attorney, offering moral support to my fiancee and legal assistance in our time of need.

Mrs. Hughes has assisted us in seeking a qualified attorney and with the funding for our attorney, and has even spent time on the phone directly with my fiancee. She never had to do any of those things. Yet, she, along with her organization, has been a constant road of support not only for my family and I, but many others I have met along my travels in this ordeal.

Cynthia Hughes and the Patriot Freedom Project are doing a huge deal of good, and I for one am forever indebted.”
